HEIKKI UUSTAL, M.D.

Dr. Uustal received his medical degree from the University of Vermont and completed his residency in PM&R at Baylor College of Medicine in 1987.  He is Board Certified in PM&R since 1988.

Dr. Uustal has focused his clinical career in the subspecialty of Prosthetics and Orthotics, and Amputee Rehabilitation.  He is nationally recognized as a leading educator and clinician in the field of prosthetics/orthotics.  Dr. Uustal is a regular speaker at several annual PM&R review courses and specialty courses in amputee rehabilitation.

Dr. Uustal has been a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation currently serves on the Board of Governors.  He previously served as Chair of the Program Committee for the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine  in 1995.

Dr. Uustal has authored chapters in several PM&R textbooks and has been involved in clinical research related to mobility for the disabled.  He has been included in the listing of “Best Doctors in New Jersey” and “Top Docs” nationally.

 

BRENT WHITE

Brent White, MPT, LP, CP is licensed Prosthetist and Physical Therapist and is Board Certified by The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, & Pedorthics. He has a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and a Degree in Prosthetics from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.  He has a combined 15 years of experience including 12 years in prosthetics. Brent is currently the Practice Manager at New Life Brace & Limb in Houston Texas.
