Description

Join the staff and students of Palmyra High School’s Musical for a fun week of theater camp. There are two tracks this year for camp. so, please be sure to select the correct option.

  • Elementary Track: This camp is for students who will complete 1st-5th grade this year!
  • Middle School Track: This camps if for students who will complete 6th through 8th grade this year or by special permission of the director.

Together, we’ll learn more about acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft through daily lessons, activities, and rehearsals.

  • Elementary Camp: Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Middle School Track: Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The week will culminate with a free show and dessert social on Friday evening! After spending the whole week learning lines and songs, rehearsing scenes, and developing an appreciation for stagecraft, this show will allow you to see all of your student’s hard work.

Important notes:

  • Camp this year will be held at the Palmyra Area High School, 1125 Park Drive. Please enter through the auditorium entrance.
  • Camp tuition is $130 for the elementary track and $145 for the middle school track. It must be paid in full at the time of registration.
  • Campers must be dropped off no earlier than 8:45 a.m. and picked-up no later than 2 p.m. for Elementary Students, and 3 p.m. for Middle School Students.

What to bring:

  • Lunch and snack that does not need refrigeration or re-heating.
  • A water bottle that can be refilled throughout the day.

What to wear:

  • Campers should wear a t-shirt and shorts.
  • Shoes should either be dance shoes or sneakers secured with laces or velcro. No flip-flops, sandals, or shoes with slippery soles.

What is this year's show?

This year, we'll be performing 'Twas the Week After Christmas. A hilarious and heartwarming story about what happens when the North Pole loses the Christmas Spirit. It’s been years since the Elves and Reindeer have gotten along. The Reindeer egos are high and Elves’ productivity is low. Will a week of vacation help remind the Elves and Reindeer what Christmas is all about?
