Event description

Description

What you’ll learn:

  • The basic principles of any lighting – natural and artificial, lighting in the studio, still photography and video.
  • How to use professional lighting equipment – strobe and tungsten.
  • How to adapt “found” lighting and hardware store equipment for professional-quality lighting effects.

In this 3-hour workshop we’ll unlock the Secret of Lighting – how to understand and control the “Quality of Light” in your photography and video. Not just for the studio photographer, but for anybody who wants to understand and recognize and control lighting conditions in their work. This class is about opening up your sensitivity and awareness to light.

We’ll use top-end professional gear, as well as found lighting from yard sales and hardware stores.

This is a 3-hour class limited to 15 students.
