Photojournalist Mike Drew — Hosted by The Forge in University District

Mike Drew is an award-winning photojournalist and storyteller who has been capturing the heart of Western Canada for over three decades. Best known for his long-running On The Road column in the Calgary Sun, Mike has brought readers along every Sunday since 1991 with vivid photography, compelling stories, and immersive videos. His work has been featured across both the Calgary Sun and the Calgary Herald. His deep knowledge of multimedia storytelling and his ability to find beauty in the everyday have made him a beloved figure in Alberta’s media landscape.

We’re honoured to have Mike speak at our building and we are very excited to to hear about his extraordinary career and the power of storytelling through the lens.
