Photography Portfolio Critique Session
Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (EDT)
New York, NY
Ever wondered what makes a photograph good and what makes a photograph fall short? In this critique session, Dawn will take a look at your portfolio of your best work and critique it based on the knowledge she has gathered through education on the topic and experience gained through various photography and art organizations, including her experience as a photography judge. She will point out good photos and why they are good photos as well as photos that don’t quite work and explain what could make the photo better. We will all have a chance to look at everyone’s portfolios and everyone will have a chance to learn through Dawn’s critique of each portfolio what judge’s look for when judging photographs.
Required: Please bring a CD-R or flash drive with 25 of your best or favorite photos with you to this workshop. Your camera is not necessary for this Workshop. Please limit your photos to 25 so that we have time for everyone’s portfolio to be critiqued.
