Event description

Description

This workshop will be a perfect follow up to Photography 1.0, as we will dive even deeper into photography. This LAB is for people that know how to shoot on manual, aperture priority or shutter priority modes and who want to take their photos to the next level creatively using light and composition. In addition we will cover how to use your focus points effectively, how to meter for light in tricky situations and what equipment do you actually need to take better photos.

Class requirements include a DSLR and at least one camera lens (though, please feel free to bring more than one). In addition to attending Photography 1.0 LAB or a working knowledge of how to shoot your DSLR in manual.
* Register for both Photography 1.0 on March 10th and Photography 2.0 and receive 15% off your total purchase.

INSTRUCTOR
Melissa Oholendt loves many things in life but photography and a great bottle of champagne top that ever-expanding list. She believes life is better when surrounded by beauty and endeavors to enrich her clients lives in that way. In her spare time she dabbles in latte foam art (not really), being Justin Timberlake’s back-up dancer (in her dreams) and singing ridiculous, made-up songs to her dogs (this is, sadly, true). Her Editorial Client List includes Target, Emily Henderson, Artful Living, Wit & Delight, Juut Salonspa, Design*Sponge, The Everygirl, Verily Magazine and more.

LOCATION
Please enter the building from the historic alleyway at 1629-1625 (door is across the alley from The Third Bird back entrance). Take the elevator to 3R and follow the signs to suite 300A.

PARKING
Metered parking is available near LAB Headquarters or parking ramps are on each side of the Basilica, which is across the street from LAB Headquarters.

CANCELLATION POLICY
