Event Details

The Annenberg Space for Photography, The Music Center, and Malpaso Dance Company are teaming up to create an exclusive opportunity for photographers inspired by dance.  Open to a small group of participants, this “field trip" will offer photographers an exclusive chance to capture the Malpaso Dance Company as they rehearse for their upcoming world-premiere performance on the stage of The Music Center’s historic Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Visiting from Cuba, Malpaso Dance Company is in Los Angeles for a limited time to participate in The Music Center’s Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA programming, Cuba: Antes, Ahora / Then, Now—a three-day exploration of traditional and contemporary music and dance at The Music Center and Grand Park. This self-led experience is perfect for the experienced photographer looking for an inspiring subject. Capture some fantastic up-close shots with access inside the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and be among the first to preview a world premiere. Space is limited, so sign-up early!
