Description

Fireworks are breathtaking spectacle of light and sound. It presents a unique and fun challenge for photographers every year. Also every year at JPI, we are asked the same following questions: How do you photograph fireworks? Where's the best spot to shoot them? Do I need a tripod? How come all I get are black images? This year we will guide you in an easy-to-understand lesson. Presented by our special guest Michael Lawhon. He'll give you a tripod leg up for this years firework shows. Sponsored in part by Manfrotto. Come see our equipment specials after the class.

Michael Lawhon was a successful photojournalist, which included time as a team photographer for the San Francisco Giants baseball club. Michael has been recognized with many awards for his images which have appeared in publications in over two dozen countries.
