Whether you are an artist seeking to photograph your artwork for reproduction, a photographer needing to properly photograph artwork in interiors or an individual trying to archive family images, knowing how to properly photograph artwork is an important skill.
Known as flat art copy, you will be invited to bring in a piece of your own (or use a provided painting) to practice hands on shooting if different mediums.
Topics will include;
- Distortion control
- Proper color reproduction
- Managing reflections
- Proper lighting to avoid shadows
- & more!
Tripods and standard lenses are required. All levels of students and camera types are welcome in this course. Please let Glazers know in advance if you need to borrow any equipment for class.
