Description

Taught by Malinda M Julien, CPP, photographer to the FW Botanic Gardens, Architectural photographer, photographer to FW Home, FW Magazine, and FW Inc, and award-winning artist, this course is a study in photographing architecture both in buildings and landscaping.

Held in the beautiful Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, we will have structures from stone and wood to glass and metal.

Hands-on class with individual instruction. Class size is limited to (10). If you do not want to photograph, just learn, there is an "audit" ticket available.

All skill levels are welcome.

We will explore the beautiful architecture from glass buildings to nature-inspired historic structures.

Lunch will be at the Gardens Restaurant, not included in course fee. Lunch will average about $12.

Equipment suggested:
full sensor camera
tilt-shift lens or wide angle lens
tripod
remote shutter release
notebook

This course offers you the opportunity to work with proven architectural photographers and produce a clean image for art or commercial work. Real estate photographers will find this course helpful as well.

Filming or recording is prohibited.

We will park and meet at the Main Building ( Moncrief Bldg) with check-in beginning at 8:30 am. Please dress appropriately as we will be walking to each structure. Please do NOT stand on or in any planted beds or any area marked off limits. Respect our living museum, the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.
