Whether it is your significant other, child or best friend, we all seem to have at least one person we gravitate to when it comes to shooting portraits.
In this course, each student will be invited to bring along one person of any age and recieve hands on tips for improving your portrait skills on them specifically. With an array of models, students will also pick up tips for photographing ages and genders that they may not have experience shooting.
We will cover posing, composition, depth of field, lenses, natural lighting tips and how to make our 'models' comfortable in front of the camera.
If you are planning on bringing a child as your subject, please consider also bringing someone who can help you watch them so you don't miss out on learning opportunities when tending to their non photographic needs.
We will meet on Sunday, April 2nd at Kubota Garden (At the entrance) at 11:30am. Together we will explore and shoot around the park.
Our second meeting will take place Sunday, April 9th at Glazer's Camera at 12:30pm to review our images as a group. In this session you are asked to bring 2-5 of your best shots in jpeg format on a flash drive to critique. This will be a wonderful opportunity to recieve further tips on improving your portraits as well as offering up your experiences with the class so everyone can learn from one another.
