Photo Workshop-Urban Landscapes and Street Abstract-Day One
Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM (PDT)
New York, NY
Take control of the creative process with Ursula Abresch and I for a fun filled evening Workshop on The High Line Park. This will be a unique opportunity to capture the true essence of New York City in stunning light, on this beautiful new installation where we will explore new concepts while creatively blending genres steeped in classic Street Photography and Urban Landscape along with the wonderful addition of the High Lines lush floral offerings. Starting off at the famous Gaslight Tavern we'll venture onto the Cobbled Streets of New York's Meatpacking District, camera in hand, to study and shoot this timeless section of town, heading directly onto the High Line Park where we will shift into more inventive ground, fusing genres, examining new ways to see and make pictures in magnificent, distinct light. The Workshop will include a Meet-and-Greet (including drinks) at The Gaslight Tavern, Two Lecture Discussions, Q&A's, Hands-On Shooting Instruction Photo-Walk and will end at the Land Mark Tavern in Hell's Kitchen where we will bring the days shoot to a finished stage, editing and discussing our images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop over food and drink.
