Event description

Description

Raul Tangco has been an avid photography hobbyist for almost 44 years. During his High School days, he had his own darkroom where he would develop film and prints. While in college at the University of Santo Tomas, he was photo editor of The Varsitarian, the university's official student publication. He is a lifetime member of the Camera Club of the Philippines, the oldest photography club in Asia. He swears by Canon; these days he carries its latest EOS R and EOS RP Mirrorless Full-Frame digital camera.

The exhibit features Raul's recent photographic adventures across the Philippines, from Northern Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao in the South. The poetic images depict the beauty of the country, with its stunning landscapes, and dynamic waterfalls.

The exhibit will open on July 15, 2019 at the Philippine Center (556 5th Avenue, NY). The Consul General of the Philippines in New York, Claro Cristobal, will do the honor of ribbon-cutting. Light refreshments will be served.
The exhibit will be open to the public from July 15-26, 2019.
