Description

Please join the CJC on Wednesday, October 18 as we welcome Professor Ira Nadel, of the Department of English at the University of British Columbia, to guest lecture on Philip Roth's enduring quest to be read and understood as an American rather than Jewish writer. Our event will be held in McGhee Library, with light refreshments.

Ira Nadel has published biographies of Leonard Cohen, Tom Stoppard, David Mamet and Leon Uris. He is completing a critical biography of Philip Roth. His previous books include Biography: Fiction Fact & Form, Joyce & the Jews and Modernism’s Second Act. He is Professor of English at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC

Any person with an accommodation request is welcome to email Events and Program Coordinator, Michelyne Chavez, at mic26@georgetown.edu. We will try to ensure that accommodation requests are made.
