As you all know, the Philadelphia school system is dealing with an overwhelming budget crisis that will leave schools vastly under-resourced as they open in September. The good news is that you can help!
PhilaSoup provides micro-grants to teachers who have innovative ideas for classroom projects that will enhance student learning. By supporting PhilaSoup, you can help the classroom come to life for students across Philadelphia. And you can start by attending our annual school year kick-off!
Join educators and supporters from across the city at Yards Brewing Company on Sunday, August 24th for drinks, brewery tours, awesome food truck treats, and a killer raffle.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Your entry fee also buys you a raffle ticket and the opportunity to take a free tour of the brewery. And the first 50 guests to arrive will get a drink ticket for the Yards beer of their choice!
Our list of awesome raffle and silent auctions items include:
- Gift certificates to Cheu Noodle, Di Bruno Bros., Audrey Claire, Twenty Manning Grill and all Starr Restaurants
- Class passes to great fitness studios like Focus Barre and Yoga, Visionary Trainers, and Maha Yoga
- Gift baskets from Greensgrow Farms, Reading Terminal Market and Kensington Food Co-op
- And a week long stay at the time-share location of your choice next winter!
If you can’t make it on the 24th, please consider donating using the ticket sale system above. Any little bit helps!
