View the Free Library's special exhibition, At These Crossroads: The Legacies of Frederick Douglass and W.E.B. Du Bois and learn about black abolitionists and activism during Douglass’s time, read the findings of Du Bois’s Seventh Ward study, and rediscover this historic district in the face of Philadelphia’s shifting urban landscape. Then, at a free community dinner, discuss themes of resistance with the team from Chronicling Resistance, a city-wide project connecting Philadelphia's past and present stories of resistance. This is part of Philadelphia: The Changing City Events Day and registration for this program signs you up for dinner at 5:15.
