Join us for our Second Annual Community-Wide Queer Passover Seder!
We enthusiastically invite you to join us as we explore the intersection of our queer and Jewish identities at the intersection of Shabbat and Passover, on Friday, April 18th, 2014. The seder is organized and led by members of Spectrum Philly, and open to the public. We welcome all those who identify as queer, LGBTQIA, those who don't like labels - and our allies!
Come one, come all! If a queer seder speaks to you, please join us for this wonderful evening!
This is an all ages event, open to the community! Venue is ADA Accessible.
The seder is based on a queer haggadah that blends traditional prayers with queer interpretations of the story of Passover. It was designed to be halachically appropriate, but very progressive, and has been specifically adapted by Spectrum volunteers for a seder we can call our own. There will be a small amount of group participation and reading that you can opt out of if you are shy, some singing, and wonderful kosher food that is both meat-eater and vegetarian-friendly. Charoset, vegetarian matzo ball soup, multiple varieties of kugel, string beans, mixed veggies, red meat, white meat, dessert, wine, grape juice, and more. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info, or fill out the survey questions when you purchase your ticket!

Last year, we sold out but we really don't like to turn people away at the door! If you'd like to buy your ticket at the door, the prices are $20/30/40 respectively.
**You qualify for the discounted rate if you are in your 20s and 30s, whether or not you have attended a prior Spectrum event. If you are in your 20s and 30, and would rather pay full price, you are more than welcome, and we greatly appreciate the support :)
