Philadelphia Foundation and Mural Arts - North Philadelphia Workshop

In honor of our centennial year of service and to highlight our ongoing community impact, we have partnered with Mural Arts to create the new mural by artist Ernel Martinez. It will be unveiled in fall 2019.

We look forward to your participation in creating this lasting reminder of the commitment, vision and values we hold close.

Join visual artist Oluwafemi & poet Yolanda Wisher to explore the common language and design principles that poems and patterns share, like repetition, motifs, symmetry and asymmetry. Participants will draw one or more patterns inspired by the world around them and turn their pattern(s) into a poem.
