Event description

Description

The Philadelphia ACE Task Force will be holding its quarterly Community of Practice meeting on Thursday, December 14th, 2017 from 3-5pm at Independence Blue Cross (1901 Market St). Community of Practice gatherings are a forum for PATF leaders, members, supporters, and friends to share their work related to ACEs, trauma, resilience, and healing.

At this Community of Practice meeting, Philadelphia ACE Task Force members will have the opportunity to:

  1. Learn about national and local strategies for addressing the opioid epidemic;
  2. Discuss the connection between ACEs and addiction and identify trauma-informed solutions; and
  3. Network with others who are committed to preventing ACEs and promoting healing and resilience.

Please join us to connect with each other and learn about new and innovative strategies in Philadelphia for addressing ACEs and trauma.

Important Information for Attendees:

  • Unfortunately, there will be no parking allowed at the Independence Blue Cross Building. There are many parking garages located throughout Center City. We are told that many choose to park at the Sonesta on Market St.
  • Suburban Station is the closest major transportation hub. The closest entrance/exit is at 18th St and JFK Blvd. There is also a trolley stop at the corner of 19th St and Market St.
  • Please arrive a bit early to get through security and remember a photo ID. You will be directed to a concierge desk in the lobby to get your security badge which is necessary to enter the elevators.
