Philadelphia 76ers Fundraiser Event
We are contacting you to provide more details about our upcoming Philadelphia 76ers Fundraisers on Friday December 16th, 2016 at 8:00 P.M and Sunday, December 18th, 2016 at 6:00 P.M at the Wells Fargo Center located at 3601 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19148.
As we discussed, last year I purchased a property from Good Bet Trading, LLC and as recommended by my advisory team in 2015, I launched “Everybody Loves Bubbles Workforce Development Agenda,” a 501 (C) 3 Charitable Organization. Everybody Loves Bubbles Workforce Development Agenda’s mission is to create training platforms, employment opportunities, real work experience, and provide an earned income for aspiring men and women who enjoy working within the commercial cleaning and hospitality industry.
Training Platforms Include: Hospitality Training, Occupational and Safety and Health Administration 10 Hour Construction Standards, IICRC Certification, ISSA educational courses and more. Our plans and contingencies have also been discussed with high–level government officials at the National Small Business Association's White House Presentations in 2013 - 2016; and endorsed as a high priority project by Senator Patrick Toomey’s (R-PA) Administration. However, before we can make our impact on job retention and creation, we need to fully fund the renovation cost of newly purchased, uninhabitable headquarters.
A brief overview of our developments were submitted to State Representative Donna Bullock (D-PA) and her chief of staff. Subsequently in an introduction to the Department of Commerce, Commerce introduced the Instore Program. We anticipated applying for the Pennsylvania Instore Program, a forgivable loan program that helps eligible retail, food, and creative for-profit and non-profit businesses purchase equipment and materials associated with establishing a new location or expanding at an existing one. Loan amounts range from $15,000 to $50,000 for a project; and loan does not require payments and is forgiven if the recipient meets program guidelines for five (5) years.
Regrettably, our location is not within the Instore eligible corridors and geographical limits. We now have to petition for a special exception zoning to the Philadelphia Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA), with hopes that they will consider special exceptions, and grants variances.
In spite of this tedious process, Everybody Loves Bubbles Workforce Development Agenda has gained the support of Philadelphia 76ers, and we now invite your demonstration of community support! So save the date, purchase a ticket at http://groupmatics.event/#/event/bubbes and join us in our mission to expanding job opportunities for low-income constituents with barriers to employment.
It’s that easy,
Crystal Evans, President
