The Foundation is an established 501(c)(3) entity, incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia, in 2001. Inspired by a Fraternity of college educated, professional men, the Foundation recognizes the importance of sustaining a culture of responsible male citizenship with respect and support for families and communities of which they are a part, enabling achievement and success through learning, self expression, and relationship building. The major purposes of the Foundation are to:
Provide opportunities for youth to achieve excellence in academic and cultural endeavors.
Provide opportunities for minority businesses to have access to capital and to grow to their full potential.
Provide support for initiatives that will improve health care, voter registration and education, and enable forums and conferences for broader understanding of social issues.
Further the educational and career development of Fraternity members and others through seminars, publications and conferences.
To receive and administer funds and properties of all kinds for such “charitable or educational purposes” as permitted of a 501(c)(3) organization exempt from federal income tax.
