Our January show features Phoebe Hunt and Dominick Leslie, two young, super-talented musicians at the forefront of the Brooklyn NY acoustic music scene. Phoebe and Domnick play old time, country, pop, bluegrass and jazz, all seamlessly. It is a rare pleasure to watch two such capable musicians weave in, and around their songs together.
Phoebe is a native of Austin, Texas and Dom is from Colorado. The duo married this year and it's a marriage made in music. They met at Merlefest in 2007, and together and seperately have appeared in a dazzling array of bands and pop-up combos with some of the best and the brightest young musicians in the country including the Belleville Outfit, the Brotet, the Hudsons and Noam Pikelny & Friends. Dom has appeared both on the Tonight Show and at Carnegie Hall.

Opening the show is Nandi Forrest, a Bay Area singer/guitarist whose talent belies his age. Though not yet out of high school, the kid can pick…and sing real good, too!
As, usual, the concert is held at the historic First Methodist Church of Point Richmond, 201 Martina Avenue. Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door.
