THIRD ANNUAL PhD CAREER COLLOQUIUM
Exploring Your Career Passions and Accessing Hidden Career Opportunities
The Visiting Scholar and Postdoc Affairs (VSPA) Program in collaboration with The Career Center is sponsoring the third annual PhD Career Colloquium on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Chevron Auditorium located in the International House.
Featuring keynote speaker Alaina Levine, the colloquium includes a panel of PhDs and former postdocs who will describe how networking facilitated their career shift. The conference will feature activities designed to jump start your own successful outreach efforts.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Alaina G. Levine is an award winning speaker, entrepreneur, and science journalist. She is the former Director of Special Projects for the University of Arizona’s College of Science. As an Eller Entrepreneurial Scholar, Alaina designed and taught an award winning graduate course on entrepreneurship for scientists.

Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants must RSVP.
IMPORTANT: Seating is limited to only 100 participants. Only registered participants with an Eventbrite ticket will be allowed entrance to this event. No exceptions will be made.
CANCELLATION/NO SHOW FEE NOTIFICATION
Because this special event is limited to a smaller group of participants, a long waiting list will result. Consequently, 72 hours prior to the event, registered participants must notify the VSPA Program of their inability to attend the symposium. Failure to do so will result in a $25 administrative fee.
