How Electrification will Benefit You

Electrification of our buildings and our cities is not only beneficial for our health and safety, it is an economic inevitability.  In this talk, based on research, and seven years of living it, Robert shares the what, why and how of electrification that will improve our lives and our economy.

Robert Fortunato     ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Robert Fortunato

Owner/ Builder, Green Idea House.

Robert Fortunato is President of ForStrategy Consulting Inc. As a trusted business advisor, Robert assists clients in empowering themselves with the tools of leadership, strategy, and innovation. Robert’s commitment to leadership, innovation, and sustainability led to him designing and constructing the multiple award-winning Green Idea House. In the process, he also built a community around the idea that anyone can affordably build with energy efficiency and sustainability in mind. Seven years later, Robert continues to share what he learns with local schools, cities, and developers to help them scale solutions that are: less expensive, better for our health, better for the economy and better for the environment.

Robert's credentials include: a degree from the Wharton School of Business, eight years as adjunct faculty at an international innovation, social entrepreneurship and sustainability school based in Denmark, a frequent guest lecturer in Pepperdine’s MBA Program and a year as Executive-in-Residence at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), where he was the built environment specialist.
