Portland Housing Center Sends Winners on a Tropical Vacation With Golden Ticket Fundraiser
The Portland Housing Center celebrates
20 years of Homeownership Done Right with a fundraiser to support its mission
Celebrating 20 outstanding years in the business on June 23, the Portland Housing Center (PHC) presents a fun and unique fundraiser with two grand prize vacations. For fifty dollars, participants receive a golden ticket with a chance to escape to either the white sandy beaches of Oahu, Maui or Kauai, or venture to culture-rich Costa Rica. With fantastic odds and an easy way to purchase online, this 350 ticket fundraiser is the main source of support for PHC’s mission to provide quality education, counseling and financial services to make home ownership accessible to everyone.
For fifty dollars one of the Grand Prize Winners and a guest will stay seven nights in the lush Guanacaste, Costa Rica, placed 300 meters from the beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Playa Del Coco condominium is a retreat couples dream of. The other winner and guest will travel to one of the tropical islands of Oahu, Maui or Kauai for seven nights of relaxed simplicity among the natural beauty of jungles, blue seas and seven sacred pools.
“The Golden Ticket Raffle promotes Portland Housing Center initiatives,” said Felicia Tripp, deputy director for Portland Housing Center. “The support from our partners has been sensational. Their kindness is astonishing. After the PHC’s HUD funding was cut this year, we are hoping the community gets involved with the raffle to support our cause. The Golden Ticket raffle is a really fun way for our supporters, donors and sponsors to provide financial assistance while winning a great vacation!”
The golden tickets are available for sale online at www.phcgoldenticket.eventbrite.com where you can purchase as many tickets as they wish. Winners of this lavish vacation will be announced on June 23 during PHC’s anniversary event and will be revealed live online via PHC’s twitter feed @PHCtweet. Participants do not have to be present during the event to win.
