This orientation is for those interested in the evening Pharmacy Technician Program at the Ogden Weber Applied Tech College. Our program holds class Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5-9 pm, students must be able to attend class all 3 nights each week. The next class starts on January 17, 2017. You MUST complete this orientation in order to apply for and be considered for acceptance into the program. The application packet is available on the schools website. Students will bring the completed packet along with all supporting documents (Tabe or Accuplacer test scores or high school/college transcripts, background check showing no criminal history was found by Utah Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI), the Tech in Training license application, the McKay Dee observation packet and copies of immunizations (MMR, Tetanus shot in the last 10 years, 3 Hepatitis shots, and 2 Varicella shots or proof of the disease during childhood/blood titer test) and negative results for a TB test in the past 6 months to the orientation. DO NOT TURN IN YOUR APPLICATION PACKET WITHOUT ALL THE ABOVE DOCUMENTATION as this may cause your application to be rejected.

You MUST have your Tech in training license within 2 WEEKS of enrolling in the program or risk being removed from the program. I will go over what this license is at the orientation so be sure to have the license application and background check results with you at the orientation.
** EXTRA NOTE: The application process will open on November 21st and close on December 20th (no exceptions). Any student who does not get their application submitted prior to Dec. 20th will be put on the wait list for the next start date.
