This presentation will cover 10 Tips for Capital Campaigns and Planned Giving in 2017, along with a brief economic update and tips on how to help your donors & prospects evaluate their own financial health. This panel presentation will be led by Rob Henson and Gary Shearer from Old National Wealth Management. Rob is a philanthropic advisor with 15 years of experience in gift planning. Rob helps both nonprofit organizations and individuals understand, plan and implement their philanthropic goals. Gary Shearer is a Senior Vice President and Client Advisor Manager with 29 years of trust and investment industry experience. He focuses his practice on helping clients accumulate, protect and grow their wealth in a manner that is consistent with each client's unique financial goals.
Rob Henson is a Certified Fund Raising Executive with 15 years of experience. He has managed over 80 capital campaigns and worked with 200 global clients on strategic fund development. In his current role, Rob provides philanthropy advisory services to clients of Old National Wealth Management. He frequently presents workshops and trainings for clients across the Old National footprint. Rob serves as an adjunct faculty in fundraising for the Master of Public Administration program at the University of Southern Indiana.
Gary Shearer brings over 30 years years of trust and investment industry experience to his position as Client Advisor Manager for the Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Muncie, South Bend and Terre Haute wealth management teams. Gary is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and focuses his practice on helping clients accumulate, protect and grow their wealth in a manner that is consistent with each client's unique financial goals. In addition to his other responsibilities Gary serves on the Old National Wealth Management Executive Leadership Group, responsible for directing the activities of the organization at its highest level.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Indiana University, Bloomington Indiana and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Gary serves as Treasurer for Visit Fort Wayne the local convention and visitors bureau, as a board member of the Olin and Desta Schwab Foundation, as a board member of The Old National Bank Foundation, as a member of the Board Development Committee for Mustard Seed Furniture Bank of Fort Wayne, Inc., as a member of the Endowment Fund Committee of Christ's Community Church, as a member of the Indiana Bankers Association Trust Committee, as a member of the CFA® Society of Indianapolis and as a member of the CFA® Institute.
