Description

Event photo by Phil Witt

Led by Phil Witt and David DesRochers, Associate Naturalists and Wildlife Photographers

This 3-hour workshop is an introductory to field and nature photography, with an emphasis on taking your photography skills to the next level. Phil and David will take you to their favorite places and show you some of the island's hidden gems and unique features. If you have a telephoto lens, bring it! Petty’s Island offers a great variety of birds both in the forest and on the surrounding mud flats. Spectacular panoramic views of Philadelphia will round out the experience. Phil and David will provide hands-on, personalized instruction as they work with you on composition and give you tools and tips for determining the optimum exposure, and cover many other topics to get you comfortable with your camera. Our goal is to help you learn...and of course, have fun along the way!

Children must be 12 and older to participate. Registration is REQUIRED for this event; space is limited to 25. Details are given upon registration.
