It’s never too late to learn! Here at the Connecticut Humane Society, we are always striving to learn about the latest best practices and advancements in the field of companion animal welfare. And we want to share that knowledge with you! From animal behavior to zoonotic diseases, each monthly seminar brings in a new topic and guest speaker. Please join us at our next PETtalk workshop Tuesday, March 26th, at 6:30 PM, titled “Pet Boredom Busters.” At this family-friendly workshop, we will discuss pet behavior, boredom-busters, and ways to keep your pets entertained thoughout the year.

Pet Boredom Busters

Bad weather, injuries, short winter days: These are just a few of the many reasons our pets may not get enough exercise and become bored. Keeping pets entertained is important for their physical and mental health. Without enough activity boredom and quickly turn into destructive behavior in the home. So what can you do to curb you pets boredom and keep them happy and healthy? During this workshop we will discuss different ways to keep all types of pets active. From snuffle mats to pet piñatas, and potted cat grass to braided rope toys, there’s something for everyone. There will even be an dog enrichment demonstration! Following the discussion about behavior and enrichment there will be a Q & A with attendees.
