PETRAS Internet of Moving Things Workshop
Thu, March 23, 2017, 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM GMT
Dear PETRAS Internet of Moving Things collaborators
Mobility and Transport is a core application area for the PETRAS Cybersecurity of the Internet of Things Research Hub, which will seek to examine the effect that the Internet of Things will have on the sector. PETRAS has already begun a number of research projects to date which have considered topics such as data sharing, security, privacy and harnessing the economic value of rolling out the Internet of Things into the world of transport.
To further enhance research and knowledge of this important sector, PETRAS has organised a workshop for key collaborators to come together and make a difference to the future of mobility and transport. To this end, PETRAS would like to invite you, or your colleagues, to join us for the day at the Digital Catapult on the 23rd March in London, from 10:30 to 15:30.
The workshop will be led by Internet of Things expert, Professor Carsten Maple of the University of Warwick, and the day will aim:
(i) to enhance understanding of the range of different issues and challenges that face real world industry and to give attendees to the opportunity to collaborate with other genuine knowledge holders within the sector.
(ii) to give attendees the opportunity to work with sector experts to dissect this information and develop solutions, or platforms from which solutions can be developed, that will benefit the sector as a whole.
If you are able to attend the event please register at
Lunch will be provided between 12:30 and 13:00 and we would ask you to detail any dietary requirements as you register.
