About this event

Imagine a dream deferred, this was almost the case when it comes to “Before Comedy After Crime” written and performed by comedian Petey DeAbreu.

This is Petey’s autobiographical story about growing up in the Bronx and trying to overcome obstacles (crime) along the way to become a comedian. Petey takes us for a walk though his cantankerous come up with characters like Momma Love AKA young Cheryl, the Big Homey* AKA names have been changed to protect the innocent* and the honorable judge Andrew Carter.

“Before Comedy After Crime” is the true definition of sometimes “you gotta go through it to get to it!”
