Marty has won numerous awards including The Nevada State Governor's Folk Arts Award, 5-String Banjo Championships in several states as well as winning the International Bluegrass Band Showdown, a band competition featuring over 100 entries from around the world.

He has shared the stage with the likes of Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, Del McCoury, Day Pass Bluegrass, Chris Stapelton and Steve Martin. Marty was instrumental in helping to bring Bluegrass Music to Las Vegas,Nevada. He served as the President of the Southern Nevada Bluegrass Music Society for 5 years, established the long running popular Logandale Bluegrass Festival and served as one of the original on-air personalities for NPR hosting a weekly Bluegrass Music broadcast for KNPR Radio in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Today the Marty Warburton Band consists of Marty on banjo, John Landon, a professional pilot on bass guitar, Larry Barnwell, an icon in Bluegrass Music circles and a Martin Guitar efficienato on guitar and Paul Washburn who works as a Lieutenant for the Division of Wildlife on mandolin.

Relying on years of experience and expertise, "The Marty Warburton Band" always brings a fun, hard driving all acoustic energy to the stage.
