Description
If you are interested in STEM research or academia and want to hear from women leaders that have succeeded in the field, join us in this panel discussion. We'll be bringing 4 women involved in STEM to talk about their careers and perspective on their respective fields, .
Come with questions and learn more about how they got to where they are and how to be leaders.
Stay and have a chance to chat with them over our coffee break.
Our four panelists are:
- Maria L Arnal, Dean of Research from the Universidad Simon Bolivar, one of the top Latin American Universities
- Kelly Bronson, Assistant Professor at the University Ottawa social scientist researching political and economic decision-making on controversial technologies
- Maria DeRosa, Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Institute of Biochemistry at Carleton University.
- Francine Ford, Executive Director at Canadian Association of Physicists.
