About this event
This in-person event, powered by Advancing Women in Tech, The Wond’ry, Blacks in Tech- Nashville, and Culture of Good will explore how women develop and own their personal brand as they navigate through the tech landscape.
What to expect
Before: Learn from Culture of Good expert George Rogers as he challenges you with short coursework to think through your WHY and your current HOW.
Event:
- 6pm - Head Shots, Happy Hour, and Networking with local tech experts and leaders.
- 6:30pm - Learn from our panel as they share their expertise and give actionable advice to accelerate your career.
- 7pm - Apply your learning through breakout discussions with other attendees. Develop next steps to growing your personal, professional, and authentic self.

Your panel
Yesenia Sevilla has 20+ years of experience in leadership roles across varying global biotech and healthcare industries, consulting and higher education. Her diverse industry background, global business acumen and multilingual skills make her an invaluable resource in innovating, collaborating, building and leading. She is the Director of Strategic Engagement & Ecosystem Development at The Wond’ry, where she creates collaborative partnerships to nurture and grow the innovation landscape of Greater Nashville.
George Rogers is passionate about championing leaders and workplace cultures. He is a keynote speaker, Chief Culture Officer of Lighthouse Research and Advisory, and Strategic Partner of Culture of Good, a company and book that pioneers the concept of culture building empowered by community impact. He champions organizations and leaders looking to build a purpose-driven culture that grows people while growing profits.
Holly Rachel and Lena Winfree are making a difference in Nashville's tech community through Rachel + Winfree Consulting, Blacks In Technology - Nashville, and with tech education activism. They specializes in data strategy design and implementation, Data Coaching, and organizational culture change for SMBs to help them compete in a data-driven economy. They founded the Nashville chapter of Blacks in Technology, an advocacy group focused on diversity in tech, and have recently launched an education program called LocalTek – Thrive targeting Metro Nashville Public School students. The program kicked off this fall with 150 juniors at RePublic High School. The BIT-Nashville leaders want to expand the program to other MNPS high schools, especially in North Nashville.
