Event description

Join us for a LIVE course called Person-Centered Thinking training.

Hosted by providers, for providers.

Our course is designed to demonstrate the standardized Person-Centered Thinking curriculum offered by The Learning Community for Person Centered Planning (www.tlcpcp.com). Essential CEU Institute has two approved trainers for facilitating person-centered planning.

Participants will do just that -- participate. This course is meant to be informative, inspiring, and engaging. Thus, each attendee will demonstrate their engagement by asking questions, answering questions, and becoming both content and process experts -- starting with one's own person-centered planning. This is a wonderful way to practice being able to generalize newly-learned and -reinforced skills to embrace the spirit of the HCBS Final Rule.

The best part? We are also approved for continuing education! If you are a direct support staff or non-certified member of one's circle of support, you need not read further and can simply register. If you are one of the certified professionals below, please do read on; this unique opportunity can save you the time and effort of completing all of your continuing education requirements separately!

What can I bring into the event?

We recommend bringing enough water to get through the day. If you're anything like us, coffee is the essence of your being and you will want to bring that coffee in. Please just make sure the container is covered.

These days and sessions will be long, as there is much to cover and much to prepare you for. We are planning for you to have approximately thirty minutes for a lunch break. We recommend stretching, walking, hydrating and locating healthy food to bolster your learning success.

Please do bring writing instruments and notepads.

We will be accommodating numerous temperatures in the room. We recommend wearing clothing that can be layered so that you are comfortable at all times.

Some individuals may be sensitive to scents and perfumes, so please be aware of the scent that you bring into the room.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Feel free to contact Dr. Heidi Morgan by email at Heidi@essentialceu.institute with any questions or concerns. We will also be in touch as the event draws closer.
