About the course:
Bill Mollison designed the PDC as a survey course. There will be some "hands-on" but focus will remain on the original intent of the course as a survey of the many principles, concepts and applications of permaculture. This allows a fuller understanding what area of permaculture interests you and then how to apply those principles in your own state of life.
The Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Course is a training utilizing the teachings of Bill Mollison’s Permaculture Design System. The goal is to achieve a working understanding in ecologically-based planning, site design and management. In memory of Elizabeth, who brought the principles of permaculture to so many in the DFW area and wanted everyone to learn these principles, the course will be discounted to $980.00 if it's paid in full by June 15, 2017. After the 15th, it will be $1,100.00.
"Isn't one PDC Course the same as the next?"
"Why Wayne was asked to teach and not someone else."
In 2009 Wayne Weiseman was one of four American instructors that Bill Mollison allowed to be listed as an instructor of the PDC. When you take a class from Wayne you are taking from someone who has a lifetime of knowledge to offer you in return. You learn from someone who has 30+ years directly in the permaculture field and even more around it's periphery of herbalism, natural building, education, renewable energy and farming. Even though there are many, many talented folks out there doing this wonderful work, there are not a whole lot of experts. Only time can transform talent into expertise and that is what Wayne can offer you when you take your PDC course at Elizabeth Annas LLC.

He was certified to teach Permaculture by Bill Mollison, the founder of Permaculture, and is recognized by the Worldwide Permaculture Network as an instructor of the Permaculture Design Certificate Course. Wayne has taught hundreds of Permaculture Design Certificate courses and advanced work, lectured and consulted internationally for many years.
Wayne has worked as a schoolteacher and as a consultant to educators and administrators in curriculum and professional development. As a primitive wilderness instructor, he relies on observation techniques and a thorough understanding of the natural world to ply his trade. He has worked extensively with corporate executives in the art of team building, and the application of ideas in business and life developed through the observation of the cycles and connections found in the natural world. He has worked as a builder and contractor, herbalist, renewable energy expert, and farmer for the past thirty years. For many years Wayne managed a land-based, self-reliant community project combining organic crop/food production, ecologically-built shelter, renewable energy and appropriate technologies.
Wayne is the founder and director of The Permaculture Project LLC, a full-service, design, consulting and educational business that promotes eco-agriculture, renewable energy resources and eco-construction methods. He is also the director of education at Kinstone Academy of Applied Permaculture, an educational organization teaching advanced, applied Permaculture and whole systems design, located in Fountain City, Wisconsin. He is a former member of the board of Permaculture Institute North America (PINA), a national certifying organization for Permaculture designers and educators.
Wayne is a co-author of an authoritative book on integrated forest gardening and plant guilds that was published in August, 2014.
