3S Artspace Presents:
Period. The End?
Produced by Erin LaPlante and Stephanie Lazenby
Wednesday, October 12
Doors: 6pm / Event: 7pm (with an intermission)
Ages 18+ / Seated
$12 Members / $15 General Admission

Period. The End? is for anyone with or around someone with a uterus (which basically means: this is for everyone). This live event is centered on menopause, perimenopause, and the mental and physical impact it has on our bodies.

Produced and hosted by Erin LaPlante and Stephanie Lazenby (of the podcast, Go Get Me Judy and comedy series, Couch to Mic), the evening will be part performance, part panel discussion, all joy and empowerment.

Erin and Steph created Period. The End? with the mutual realization that generational silence around menopause, periods, childbirth, hormonal rage and incontinence is the root cause of shame and stigma. They want to "smash that old way of thinking to smithereens."

Period. The End? begins with original theatrical pieces by actor/activist Sandi Clark and comedian Monica Dorley, and features the dynamic performer Sara Juli – whose stage work includes Tense Vagina: An Actual Diagnosis.

Then Erin and Steph channel their inner Oprah, moderating an exciting discussion with Dr. Sonja Nelson, OBGYN; Margot Kingston, certified Menopausal Practitioner; and Krista Haapala, author, artist and therapist. They'll respond to pre-submitted questions from the audience about every aspect of perimenopause and menopause including sex, hormones, no hormones, positive aspects of menopause, and so much more!
