Event description

Description

Would you like to produce more power on the bike with less effort?

Do you experience aches, pains and stiffness from the many hours spent in the saddle biking? Back pain, shoulder & wrist pain, stiff neck, tight hips, tendonitis?

Do you feel like a beast on the bike but worry about injuring yourself around the house?

Don't allow those nagging injuries keep the beast off the bike. We can help.

We'll teach you the #1 exercise for increasing the amount of force you can produce into the pedals. And we'll teach you how to do it while gaining hardly any additional bodyweight.

Cycling is a highly repetitive sport that invites several repetitive strain injuries and postural issues. But with the right selection of soft tissue work, joint mobilizations, dynamic stretches and strengthening exercises to counter your time in the saddle, you can avoid overuse injuries, correct your posture and boost overall performance and recovery.

This 8 week strength and conditioning program begins Friday evening, December 1st when you come in for baseline testing of your peak power production, injury history and movement assessment. For the following 8 weeks you and your training group of up to 9 other cyclists will meet every Wednesday and Friday evening from 6-7 PM at Further Fitness in Kingston, NY.

Cost: $347 for beta group in December. $697 for January group. Take advantage of this program while it's still in the beta testing phase. The next group beginning in late January will be paying $697/person. In exchange for paying 50% less, you'll be asked to offer feedback about how we can better enhance the program in the future in terms of training times, exercise compliance, training season flow, ability to recover with riding and video testimonials.
