The post-workout window is crucial to kick-start the recovery process so that you’re ready to challenge yourself again in your next training session. But it’s all too easy to rush through your after-workout routine to get back to the busy-ness of life.
Myofascial release can be a powerful tool in your arsenal, helping you release and refresh fatigued muscles quickly.
Join Kaari Coach Rachel Land (ERYT 1000, Yoga Medicine Senior Instructor) to explore:
- how and why fascial hydration is important post-workout
- how to use MFR to “reset” your soft tissues and retain mobility
- what intensity is appropriate to kick-start the recovery process
- learn accessible myofascial release techniques that you can apply immediately to your own mobility and recovery routine
Join us Wednesday May 25th, 6pm EDT for this seminar. We’ll cover some theory to start, flesh it out with a guided myofascial release practice, and end with time to address all your questions. Bring your foam roller and myofascial release balls (tennis balls or some pairs of tightly rolled up socks also work great!). You are of course welcome to simply observe if you prefer.
