Giving feedback is one of the most important things a leader does for their team. In this session, you will learn how to effectively share feedback even in tough situations and perfect your skills with feedback practice exercises.

Pre-work: Identify a situation at work where you want to give someone feedback. Bring this feedback situation to the session and we will help you plan what to say the effective way.

During this session, you will:

  • Discover a six-step process for giving meaningful feedback
  • Craft a feedback script for a specific workplace scenario and receive feedback on your draft script
  • Review how to turn feedback into a two-way to preserve self-esteem, gain commitment and agreement
  • Learn how to build trust and accountability in direct reports through building on their strengths
  • Convert ineffective feedback examples into effective feedback
  • Practice how to leverage the feedback process with your specific workplace scenarios
