Description

Come to this 2 hour workshop to unlock the secrets of getting your dog to stop jumping on people!

In the first hour, we will focus on basic cues that help with jumping behaviors. We will learn about and practice replacement behaviors. Then, we will learn and understand when, when NOT, and how to combine positive punishment (I.E. squirting the dog with a water bottle in the act of jumping), positive reinforcement (giving a reward for desired behavior), and negative punishment (taking away something the dog likes- i.e. the dog jumps for attention, you turn your back to take the attention away) to gain improvements on the dogs jumping behavior.

Hour 2 will focus on using and practicing what we have learned in hour 1 in a controlled environment to ensure sucess!! You and your dog will be meeting and greeting REAL people!!! To close the workshop, we will be trouble shooting and having a Q & A.
