What is PLUS: People Like Us?
PLUS is an alternative interfaith initiative that aims to harness the power of our difference to benefit society.
There are many exciting single faith/belief initiatives (Limmud, Greenbelt, Living Islam to name but a few) that create communities as well as running great events. We are a group of people who want to use the learning from those initiatives to create an alternative interfaith movement.
To see what PLUS is all about please read our Values page.
We are looking to grow by inviting other people to join us in building the group and expanding the event size organically. Starting with a PLUS Pilot event in April 2013 we expect participants from all faiths and those of no faith to come, take ownership of PLUS and plan its future activities.
The event will revolve around the theme of 'Life Stages' and will include sessions and discussions about what influences our learning and attitudes towards work, dealing with bereavement and what makes a family.
