Event description

Every year, too many fellow homeless neighbors die of preventable and manageable diseases without the dignity of a home. On Thursday December 20th the People for Fairness Coalition will host the fourth annual overnight Homeless Vigil to remember those who we lost and to rally for an end to homelessness.

The People for Fairness Coalition is a community organization dedicated to ending homelessness in Washington, D.C. through outreach, peer mentoring and advocacy. This powerful advocacy group is led by individuals who have experienced housing instability themselves and they ask, “Why do we have to die on the streets?”

Please join us to support the People for Fairness Coalition! Together we can end housing instability in DC. Homeless Persons Memorial Day starts on Tuesday, December 20th at 5:00PM and ends Wednesday, December 21 at 12PM.
