Pennsylvania’s Latino community is the fastest growing segment of the population, accounting for more than fifty-percent of the state’s population growth in the last two decades. 896,000 Latinos in Pennsylvania (Census, July 2017); Latinos are reaching 1 million in Pennsylvania – making it the fastest growing ethnic group.

To proactively and intentionally address these changes in demographics, we took some concerted measures translating it into a positive impact for the commonwealth aligning this growth with Pennsylvania’s roadmap to the future. We are thrilled to announce – The Pennsylvania Latino Convention! And, we want you to be a part of this unprecedented journey as we approach 1 million Latinos in Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania Latino Convention is created to serve as the annual gathering to ignite positive change in local communities across the state while ensuring key stakeholders are accessible, accountable and responsive to the needs of the Latino community. Pennsylvania is home to almost 1 million Latinos and is home to the second largest migration of Puerto Ricans after Hurricane Maria, this convention discusses challenges and opportunities for new Pennsylvanians.

OPENING PLENARY "IMMIGRATION AND MIGRATION: NEW PENNSYLVANIANS"

Pennsylvania is home to almost 1 million Latinos and is home to the second largest migration of Puerto Ricans after Hurricane Maria, this plenary discusses challenges and opportunities for new Pennsylvanians.

TOWN HALL ON LATINO HEALTH

Addressing health disparities and culturally-competent care.

OPENING NETWORKING RECEPTION

Connect with the state's Latino executives, business owners, civic leaders, and professionals to gain deep insight of our impact in the commonwealth.

NATIONAL LEADERSHIP LUNCHEON

Presenting data on the state of Latinos in the United States with a national keynote speaker.

GALA DINNER RECEPTION

A night to celebrate the vibrant cultures, sounds and the arts of Pennsylvanians of Latino/Hispanic descent with movers and shakers from around the state.

HEALTH & WELLNESS PAVILION | EDUCATION PAVILION | EXHIBITORS

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to make profitable new business contacts, present new products, educate decision makers and fulfill entrepreneurial outreach, diversity and recruitment programs.

The Latino community is the youngest community in the state and nation - drafting a plan for Latino progress must include the voices of young Latinas and Latinos.
