Event description

Description

The Pennsylvania Flood Insurance Roundtable is hosted by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), the Pennsylvania Insurance Commission, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on Thursday, June 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Fugh Memorial Social Hall, 27 Crescent Avenue, Etna, Pennsylvania 15223.

The primary purpose of this event will be to bring stakeholders together from across various agencies and industries to engage in a conversation about how we can work together to increase flood insurance coverage across Western Pennsylvania. The event will include a roundtable discussion with representatives from federal, state and local government, as well from academia and the banking, real estate and insurance industries. The roundtable discussion will be followed by small-group breakout sessions, a group report out, and the event will conclude with an informal Open House/networking event. There will be municipal, county, state and federal presenters on hand as well as panelists from the university, real estate, banking and mortgage and insurance sectors fielding questions from public officials and industry representatives.

On-site lunch will be provided and Continuing Education Credits (CECs) are available for some attendees. For more information contact Terence Milstead at terence.milstead@ogilvy.com or at (850) 339-9714.
