Share Pelvic Health 101

Event Details

FREE educational seminars focused on exploring the relationship between the pelvic floor muscles and bowel, bladder, sexual and reproductive health.

All seminars start at 7pm.

We ask if attendees can please make a small donation to International Pelvic Pain Socity (IPPS) upon attending seminar. IPPS’ mission is focused on optimizing the diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from chronic pelvic pain, and serving as an educational resource for health care professionals. As a not-for-profit organization, IPPS is broadly funded by donations and memberships from individuals, patients, and healthcare professionals alike. Your support of IPPS allows valuable educational programs that work the betterment of the diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from chronic pelvic pain.


September 20th: Something’s wrong with my what? Learn the pelvic floor muscle anatomy and its relationship to bowel, bladder and sexual function with Stephanie Stamas, DPT


September 27th: Running to the bathroom, again. A closer look at urinary dysfunction and painful bladder conditions with Stephanie Stamas, DPT


October 4th: Does my diet really matter? Yes! What you eat matters - come learn about the best nutrition for your pelvic floor condition with nutritionist Jessica Drummond, MPT, CCN, CHC


October 11th: Why is pooping so difficult? Learn the role of muscle coordination, toilet posture and easy techniques to improve your bowel movements today! Taught by Stephanie Stamas, DPT


October 18th: Pain & Sexuality: Is it all in my head? No, it is not! Pelvic pain is highly correlated with muscle dysfunction in men & women. Come learn more about the connection with Stephanie Stamas, DPT


October 25th: Ladies only session. A time to explore female anatomy, hormones, life cycle changes and a safe space for questions with Stephanie Stamas, DPT


November 1st: Optimizing reproductive function. Physical Therapy is
integral for optimal reproductive health, from fertility to pregnancy and post-partum recovery. Come learn more with Melissa Stendahl, DPT


November 8th: Improve your birthing experience. The female body is designed to give birth, so how do things go wrong? Birth educator, Ashley Brichter, will discuss how to improve your birthing experience.


November 15th: Potty issues with kiddos. Learn about how to manage your child’s potty issues! From bed wetting to accidents and constipation, find out what PT can do for your child with Fiona McMahon, DPT
