Description
Pegasus at Mana: Music through the Ages
Pegasus: The Orchestra will partner with Mana Contemporary and Goldman Sachs community team works members to present an educational concert/lecture and art experience for families and children of all ages. Pegasus Principals will join forces for a creative afternoon of programming for clarinet, violin and cello combinations with piano. The program will feature musical gems covering four hundred years of music in one hour.
An Art workshop open to students of all ages with be given by acclaimed artist and educator, Gabriel Pacheco prior to the concert at 2:30pm. During the workshop students will create a piece of artwork working with metallic paint an old sheets from a dictionary. For this session they will be taught how to combine a music instrument and a heart to create an original piece.
Tickets $20–25 (ticket price includes admission to the entire event)
Kids Art Class: 2:30–3:30pm | Reception 3:30–4:00pm | Concert 4–5pm
