Is the space accessible?

Unfortunately the space may not be accessible for individuals with mobility issues, as there are 42 steps leading up to the meeting room and there is no lift. However, please do get in touch if you'd like to join our sessions, as we are looking into facilitating online/hybrid sessions in the future.

Who is running these sessions?

Liverpool Counselling Collective is a group of qualified counsellors working collaboratively to provide accessible mental health support for clients, and a space for counsellors to grow personally and professionally. We offer peer supervision, CPD events and wellbeing workshops for counsellors.

Question 3

Do I have to join all sessions?

Accepted Answer

No - we offer regular 6-weekly sessions for anyone who may be interested, but you are more than welcome to just join one to begin with to see whether this could be helpful to you!

Question 4

I am a trainee and not yet seeing clients - can I still come?

Absolutely! We welcome people from every point along the counselling journey, as we believe that we all have useful insights and contributions to share with each other.

Question 5

Do I need to prepare in any way?

Accepted Answer

No. If you have an issue that you would like to discuss, that's great, but you can also just turn up and see what happens. It's an organic process that is different each time.

Do I need to bring anything?

No - we provide hot drinks, snacks, water, pens, pencils and paper.

How do I make a donation?

Although our events are free, we ask for donations to support our work with clients and counsellors across the Liverpool area. Once you register for the event, you will be sent further information on how to make a donation on the day, either via bank transfer or cash.
