Research indicates that having students review and assess their own and each others' work can increase both student engagement and achievement. This workshop will demonstrate three peer assessment tools available to all instructors at Pitt: Peerceptiv, Turnitin PeerMark, and the Blackboard Self and Peer Assessment tool. This workshop meets in Alumni Hall, B26.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to
- Understand the unique features of Peerceptiv, Turnitin PeerMark and Blackboard Self and Peer Assessment;
- Select the right peer asssessment tool for your course.
- Create and manage a peer assessment using Peerceptiv, Turnitin PeerMark and Blackboard Self and Peer Assessment;
- Integrate Peerceptiv and Turnitin PeerMark with Blackboard;
