Pediatric Supergroup Conference 2017
Thu, Jun 1, 2017, 12:00 PM – Sat, Jun 3, 2017, 3:00 PM CDT
About the Conference
In 2016, PCC hosted the first-ever Pediatric Supergroup meeting. We convened nationally prominent pediatric experts to share and address the concerns that are particular to pediatric supergroups. We had a sold-out event that left attendees demanding a follow up.
This year’s meeting will extend discussions about important topics from last year – from legal and legislative issues to IT security – with additional content developed as the supergroup market has evolved.
Two significant additions to this year’s agenda include:
- The creation of a Pediatric Supergroup Association. On Thursday evening over dinner, we will develop a framework for a national association focused solely on the needs of pediatric supergroups that will be managed by the groups themselves.
- An entire additional day focused on H/R topics. On Saturday, after the Supergroup event, we have a mini-event dedicated to the H/R needs of pediatric practices (not just supergroups). H/R issues are the biggest pain point for independent pediatricians.
We will follow last year’s successful model and each presentation will include interactive time with other attendees. What challenges do other groups face? What solutions have they implemented that you are considering? What is their local market doing that you haven’t seen yet? How are they managing growth, and how are they addressing new payment models?
This is your chance to find out, face to face.
What is a Pediatric Supergroup?
The definition of a supergroup varies widely from market to market, but any group of pediatricians organized to combat the challenges of remaining independent is a supergroup.
Whether you’re in a clinically integrated network of diverse practices, part of a single
Tax ID entity that has grown organically over decades, or are a single pediatrician who is considering taking that first important step… we want you here.
Who Should Attend?
Individuals and parties interested and invested in the concept of pediatric supergroups. We expect many of the attendees to be part of supergroups presently, but we encourage those who are considering joining or forming a supergroup to attend.
Space is limited. Last year's event sold out swiftly.
